Sepia bottle conditioned w/ Brettanomyces - Amber Biere de Garde Collab w/ Heavy Duty Brewing
Sepia is an Amber Biere de Garde brewed with our friends at Heavy Duty in Copenhagen. Heavy Duty is a brewing project from wife and husband duo Mari Schneider and Jim Mannion. I has the pleasure of working with Jim for nearly 10 years before he met Mari, fell in love with her and moved to Denmark. It was an honor to brew with him and Mari and make a beer we are incredibly proud of.
Sepia represents our mutual commitment to beer flavored beer and classic styles. It pours a beautiful mahogany-amber color with a tan white head. It has notes of dates, toffees, the crust of well baked sourdough, hints of baker’s chocolate, black pepper, and a subtle vinousness.
This version is bottle conditioned with our house blend of Brettanomyces.
